4Blind Presented Their Solutions at the First African Deafblind International Conference in Nairobi

The conference was organized by Deafblind International (DbI), and its overarching theme was "Reality in Africa: Achieving Sustainable Development Goals — Opportunities and Challenges." It brought together a community of experts, educators, and specialists from various fields to share their experiences, knowledge, and ideas.

We were thrilled to be part of this event, engaging in discussions, offering solutions, and making our contribution.

Elisaveta Ardashova, Head of the Research Group, delivered a presentation on behalf of 4Blind. She highlighted several challenges faced by deafblind individuals today in communication, socialization, and daily life. She also introduced a technical solution aimed at addressing and mitigating these challenges — the HaptiBraille Communicator.
